Personoliaeth

Personoliaeth sydd wrth wraidd ymddygiad dynol. Fodd bynnag, mae ymchwil perfformiad dynol wedi canolbwyntio bron yn gyfan gwbl ar brosesau perfformiad yn hytrach nag ar bersonoliaeth neu rôl personoliaeth o fewn prosesau o'r fath.

Un nod o ymchwil IPEP yw unioni'r anghydbwysedd hwn, yn benodol trwy ymchwilio i sut mae personoliaeth, strategaethau perfformiad, a ffactorau eraill yn rhyngweithio i ddylanwadu ar berfformiad elitaidd. Mae peth o'n gwaith wedi canolbwyntio ar y 5 Nodwedd Fawr, sef bod yn allblyg, niwrotig, cydwybodol, yn agored ac yn fodlon i wneud rhywbeth. Fodd bynnag, mae'r rhan fwyaf o ymchwil personoliaeth IPEP yn mynd y tu hwnt i'r dull eang hwn sy'n seiliedig ar nodweddion i ystyried newidynnau personoliaeth mwy penodol fel narsisiaeth ac alexithymia sydd â rhesymeg ddamcaniaethol gref o ran sut y maent yn dylanwadu ar berfformiad.
